AC Unit Replacement Recommendation for 20 Foot Rpod Trailer

Question:

Im looking for a quiet AC unit for our 20 foot Rpod. The Atwood 15027 seems like a good choice. I would think the 13.5K BTU would be plenty. Is there another AC unit that is as quiet or quieter? Also, we have no ducts. Can the 15027 be used as is in a non-ducted configuration, i.e. all air coming through the plenum? Is a different plenum required?

The Atwood Air Command 13.5K Btu Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15027-22 is definitely a solid choice but I recommend going with the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR23PV instead for a few reasons; when we tested for sound the Furrion units were about the same as the Atwood when it comes to noise level, the Furrion looks more updated not only with the AC unit but also with the wall thermostat design, the Furrion is a bit more powerful so if you ever need the extra power it's right there and waiting, and finally the Atwood company was bought out a few years ago so their products are basically slowly becoming non-existent so it will be easier to find replacement parts in the future for the Furrion.
