Need to know exact sz of this plate frame, as the previous owners had a metal frame on that rubbed the paint off. Im needing to cover that.

I checked with the manufacturer and was able to get the exact dimensions for you of the Tuf Combo License Plate Frame and Smoke-Tinted Shield - Black # CR62052.
They say this frame measures 12.3 inches long x 6.2 inches wide (in fractions that'd be just under 12-5/16" and just over 6-3/16").
To mount the # CR62052 you will need one of two kits; for import vehicles the Star Pin Locking Fasteners # CR81300, and for domestic vehicles the Star Pin Locking Fasteners # CR81200.
