Does the Prodigy RF Brake Controller Control Trailer Light Functions

Question:

Does it also control the trailer lighting such as blinkers and brake lights? If I have an older pickup and require braking for the traiiler can this unit be bypassed by plugging directly into it from the older truck?

The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Brake Controller, # TK94FR, does not control the trailer lighting, but the trailer light functions do pass through the brake controller to the trailer lights. If the trailer lights work when you plug the trailer into the truck, then this unit will have no affect on the lighting functions.

You will plug the 7-way connector from your trailer into the Prodigy RF unit and then you will plug the 7-way connector from the Prodigy RF into the 7-way Socket on your truck. I have attached the installation instructions as well as an installation video of the Prodigy RF for you to check out.
