Does Install of Go Power Solar Panel Charge Kit Require Use of Transfer Switch to Charge Battery

Question:
Hi. I have a pre-wire Jayco 5th whl. for Go Power solar. I would like to added a small panel, controller to supply backup power charge the battery to care for a 12v Furrion Refrigerator in case my 50am shorepower goes out for a day or 2. Once the the shorepower comes back online, the controller will sense the battery to be fully charged and stop supplying power. Is this correct? I should not need any thing else... like a transfer switch or inverter. Camper already has a Converter connected to 50amp shorepower.

The Go Power solar panel kits like the part # 34272635 charge the battery with a 12 volt DC power source (which is standard) and what's great about that is that more than one 12 volt power source can one a charge circuit and nothing bad will happen. This is not the case for AC power which is why there's a need for a transfer switch but for DC it just isn't needed. This also will stop charging once battery is fully charged as well.
