When you move up to a larger amperage converter you just need to ensure that your wiring is the correct gauge to support the higher amperage. Since you're only going from 40 to 45 amps you're more than likely fine. The next important step is to choose the correct converter for your battery type.
If you have a lead acid battery bank you'll need to use the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger - 12V - 45 Amps # PD9245C.
If you have a lithium battery bank then you'll need the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger - Lithium - 12V - 45 Amps # PD9145ALV.
