Hopkins HM08201 Trailer Leveler Reading One Inch High With Trailer Level

Question:
Hopkins rv smart level l set my travel trailer level then try to install smart level. With the bumble level and the red light lights up saying bring front up 1in it should be green light saying level l think l am installing right is there a trick to it thanks

I spoke with my Hopkins representative regarding your question. Are you measuring for level with the # HM08201 LED smart level with the trailer hitched to the vehicle, or when it's up on the jack?
If you're leveling while on the jack, the leveler will read tongue-high, because the vehicle will squat a bit once it's hitched.
