Question:
Good Afternoon, After install we went to torque bolts. Is the specs supposed to be inch pounds or foot pounds? The foot pounds is a huge torque. Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Ford Super Duty - 25,000 lbs Item # RP30138-26

The torque specs for the hardware on the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Ford Super Duty - 25,000 lbs # RP30138-26 is definitely ft/lbs. It sounds like a huge torque because it is - this hitch is rated for up to 25,000 lbs so everything will be torqued pretty tight.
If you don't have a torque wrench we have some available like the part # PT79FR that can go up to 250 ft/lbs. You should also be able to rent one from your local hardware or auto parts store if you only need the torque wrench this one time.
Attached is an installation video of this kit on a 2015 Ford F-350 as well as the instructions for you to check out.
