Cleaning the vents on your Furrion RV Electric Fireplace # F30SW15ABL is great first start but this may not permanently solve your issue if the airflow in your trailer is inadequate.

Inadequate airflow will also cause the fireplace to throw an 88 code. I suggest you check for adequate airflow. You may have to slide the unit out of the wall and make sure the vent located on the top of the containment box is not too close to anything that would limit airflow. Additionally, if you use this fireplace solely to heat up your trailer, it may also be causing the 88 code to trigger due to overheating from the fireplace working overtime.

My Furrion isnt throwing a code but it will just turn itself off. I think it is not getting enough air to the back of the unit.

@Marvin You could test that by pulling it out and allowing it to get as much air as it wants and see if that changes anything. Also make sure the power source for it is solid. Sometimes a weak battery can cause components to shut off.
