Question:

Need a 4" drop setup for my Reese trunnion setup, 2" ball, used with a 6000 gross weight car trailer. I pieced together the following and want to make sure it is correct/safe: RP58167, RP3215, C69FR.

Unless you are needing to change out some of the other parts for another reason, you will only need the Reese Weight Dist Shank # RP3215 to achieve the 4" drop you are needing. The Reese Weight Dist Shank # RP3215 has up to 5-3/4" of drop. The shank is what is going to provide the drop you are needing, not the head or hitch ball.

You would just use you current head/system with the new shank in place of your current shank which should be attached by two bolts.
