How Many Charging Volts And Battery Banks Can The Progressive Dynamics RV Control Center Handle

Question:

Hi, have 2 questions. I have the PD 4135 unit with a Renogy 100AH Lithium battery. The switch in the unit to charge this battery is in the correct position. When the unit is charging the battery, a voltmeter at the battery reads 13.6v going to the battery. According to what I read, shouldn’t that be 14.6v? Second question, will the PD4135 handle a 2nd Renogy 100ah battery connected to the first battery? I want to extent my time when not connected to shore power. Thanks much,

A Charge between 13.8V and 14.7V is enough to charge any battery without causing damage. A battery will only sustain damage if the charging voltage used it higher than the full charge voltage of the battery.
