The SkyRise when closed would be too high for me to be able to pull into my garage I think. I have about 14 inches of clearance. What are the lowest profile crossbars I could get that would work with my 2018 Highlander LL?

The lowest profile roof rack for your 2018 Toyota Highlander with flush mount rails is from Rhino-Rack. When we test fit this rack on an '18 Highlander we found that it measured 4 inches from the roof to the top of the rack, and there is also a low-profile rooftop tent that will work with it. First, here are the parts that make up the rack:

This rack has the correct spread and weight capacity to allow your '18 Highlander to use a low-profile rooftop tent, and there is one that measures 9-1/2 inches tall when closed, which is from Thule:
