I prefer the TK77FR with the connectors rather than splicing into the existing wiring. Will this kit work with my BMW X3 2012?

For your 2012 BMW X3 we only have universal style trailer wiring harnesses available like the ZCI kit part # 119250KIT which does not require splicing as it uses sensors instead. I attached an install video that shows a similar kit install on an X3 like yours to show you how to find the correct wires.
