AC Unit Solution for Cargo Trailer
Question:
Thanks so much for the help on my question concerning a ductless AC for my small cargo trailer. I have a follow up question. You recommend the Advent-Air/ACM135CH. However, when I look at the “more information” tab, Is this right for you? Product Expert Kathleen M says that it’s not right for you if you: Travel to the South in the summer and need something to contend with blazing heat or swampy humidity. I live in Florida. 90 of its life will be combatting blazing heat and swampy humidity. BTW, it’s going in a 12’x 7.5’ V-nose cargo trailer.

You are correct in what the terms ducted and non-ducted means. You'd have a non-ducted trailer so for a unit like you are wanting the Advent Air Unit part # ACM135CH would be a really great option. It comes with a start capacitor, a lower vent assembly to distribute the air in the room like you are wanting and has a heat pump to help bring some warmth in if ever needed.
