how does this rack install, vehicle does not currently have factory installed rack. thx

I will send you the directions in a separate e-mail, but, here is a brief overview on how to install the Rhino-Rack # RSP01 on your 2006 Honda CR-V.
On your roof, you have 4 plastic covers that need to be gently removed. You will then insert a screw using the Allen wrench provide into each of the mounting areas, and then place one mounting leg on the screw followed with a crossbar on the mounting leg.
Rhino-Rack states installation should take about 15 minutes.
