When using the Loctite Thread Sealant 545 # LT37482 on an inactive material like stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, or titanium (metals that don't corrode) you need to use the Loctite Klean N Prime. According to Loc Tite you just need to let it dry for a minute. If left clean it will still work up to a month after application.
