Item # BD1289210300 Does this item fit a 4.5 outer tube with .25 wall thickness or does it need to be .188 wall thickness to fit? When should you use one outer tube wall thickness over the other. Thanks,

The Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler Inner Tube part # BD1289210300 is designed to be used with an outer tube 4.50" x 4.50" with a wall thickness of .188" per my contact at Bulldog. That said, a thicker outer wall likely just yields a higher capacity so it should not affect fit as 4" x 4" is a standard for the inner tube.
