Vehicle specific weight capacity must be evaluated from your specific vehicle. I can only provide general specs which show it may be as much as 15,450 lbs. The engine, cab type and other factors must be considered for specific build. You will need to look at your vehicle specific owner's manual to determine what max capacity is.
I suggest the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit, # BWGNRK1313. This has a gross towing weight of 30,000 lbs. so will be able to handle the max load of your Ram truck. The vertical load limit is 7,500 lbs. with a 2-5/16" ball size. This fits both 2500 and 3500 series trucks with either the sort or long bed but will not fit vehicles equipped with the Mega Cab.
If you have a Mega Cab I suggest the Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, # C60682.
