Distance From Top of Receiver To Frame Mounting Point on Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch
Updated 01/19/2022 | Published 01/15/2022 >
Question:
I have a 1991 v3500 with a bumper. I’m looking for the measurements from the frame mount point down to the top of the 2” receiver at the lowest setting to make sure it will clear the bumper. The top of the receiver has to be able to sit at least 7” lower than the frame mounts. Thanks

Expert Reply:
I reached out to Draw-Tite and found that the distance from the frame mounting point to the top of the receiver at the lowest setting is 10-5/16". Keep in mind, the Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41947 is only confirmed to fit C/K series pickups from 1991.
