Question:
Hello, I own a 2010 Lexus RX350 and I only have a volt meter to test the pins on my tow hitch plug. I tested with the lights on the voltage and it reads 6.58VDC, What harness do I need and is this enough voltage. I did make sure to have a good ground. Thank You

Expert Reply:
You need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118255 if the OEM connector only has 6.58 volts of power on your 2010 Lexus RX 350. This harness has a powered converter that will up the voltage to the trailer lights to the 12 volts/battery voltage.
The Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58002 can be used to secure the 4-way connector to the end of a 2" receiver. This will place the connector where it can be easily accessed without the risk of dragging on the ground while driving.
