Question:
I have a Fastway e2 Weight Distribution hitch, i am looking at replacing the L-Pins, as the pull pin is too hard to get in and out. I wondered if the L-Pins came with a 1/4in hole size, so i can use a Coupler Pin or if the L-pins with the clip pins would work? I am struggling to see the safety of the Clip pins as well. Any help is appreciated. THANKS!

While I would not recommend using a different clip, and the L-Pins do not come with a different hole size, I do have a solution. Since you have the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600 you can use the Replacement L-Pins and Clips for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - 6K to 14k - Qty 2 # EQ95-01-9430.
Equal-i-zer and Fastway are the same company, and these clips are compatible with your system. These L-Pins have an integrated clip to secure the pin. Instead of having to pull the clip out, you can easily flip it up and down to secure it.
I have attached a review video for your reference.
