How difficult is it to install this trailer hitch yourself? I have some pretty good mechanical skills but I am not a professional.

The instructions state it will take a professional about an hour to complete the install. I have linked the instructions and an installation video. If you do not feel comfortable after going over the instructions and watching the process then you should look in your area for a professional installer.
