The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75560 fits the following vehicles:
2005 - 2007 Subaru Legacy Wagon
2005 - 2007 Subaru Outback Sedan excluding Sport
2008 - 2009 Subaru Legacy
2005 - 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon excluding Sport
2005 - 2007 Subaru Legacy Sedan
This hitch is not confirmed to fit your 2002 Subaru Outback Wagon. For a hitch that is a confirmed fit for your vehicle I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # 36284. This hitch has a black powder coat finish and a maximum tongue weight of 300 lbs to hold any accessories you have. It uses a square-tube design and has a limited lifetime warranty.
I have attached an installation video for your reference.
