Question:

Should I go with the Drawtite or Curt hitch for my 2021 Jetta? I see they look different but is there anything better about one over the other?

You are correct that the main difference between the Draw-Tite # 24978 and Curt # C11540 trailer hitches for your 2021 Volkswagen Jetta has to do with the design. The Draw-Tite has a hidden crosstube so it will look much cleaner on your Jetta while the Curt will be easier to install but the crosstube will be visible which won't look as clean plus it will reduce your ground clearance some.

Because of all of this I recommend going with the Draw-Tite over the Curt. Even if you have to have a shop install the hitch it will be worth it for the better look and ground clearance. I'm attaching an installation video and photo of this hitch on a 2019 Jetta for you to check out.
