Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit For 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 w/ Standard Bumper

Question:

How, I was wondering why the Curt 13388 hitch will not fit on a 2017 Sprinter 170 wb passenger van? I like the fact that it sits higher then the Draw-tite 75549 and provides better ground clearance. What is different on a passenger van?

The frames are different on cargo van and passenger van versions of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500, which is why the Curt Hitch 13388 won't fit. I did check with our manufacturers and the only option for a hitch that fits your '17 Sprinter 2500 with the standard bumper (not the step bumper) is the Draw-Tite you mentioned:

I understand it isn't the news you are wanting to hear, but it is only fit for your van.
