A lithium battery like the Power Sonic RV Lithium Battery # PS34FR is going to be the best battery type for your alarm system. Lithium batteries handle the cold weather better than AGM or Deep cycle batteries that can freeze.
Traditional lead acid batteries can freeze at temperatures below freezing since they use water inside the cells, this will actually lead to the battery becoming damaged internally and no longer working properly.
