Yes, the Rhino-Rack clamps, # DK185, will fit a 2009 Toyota Matrix. This is only part of the roof rack though and is made to fit on a naked roof (no type of roof rack at all already on the vehicle). There are some options for the remainder of the roof rack.
You can use the Vortex bars, # RRVA126B-2 with foot pack # RRRLKVA. And finally, if you like heavy duty bars use # DH1250S. All of these systems use # DK185 on a 2009 Toyota Matrix.
