As long as you have a magnetic surface for the Performance Tool Vehicle and Trailer Aligner # PTW1276 to attach to, there will be absolutely no issue using it with a fifth wheel that has a gooseneck hitch. I'm actually surprised I have never been asked this before as it is a much less expensive option than a camera, like the Rear View Safety WiFi Hitch Backup Camera # RVS-83112-WiFi.
Don't get me wrong though, the camera way is a very nice way to go as it will connect to a smartphone. But with the cost being more than ten times that of the # PTW1276 and them both being just as effective at lining everything up, the Performance Tool # PTW1276 will definitely be a good option.
