I have an older set of the aero bars, but I dont know the model number. The top channel gap is 1cm wide. Will this rubber strip fit? It sound like it is a good way to cut down the wind noise.

If the Thule bars that you have pre-date the new AeroBlade bars then you would use a different rubber strip, # TH853354407. The strip serves the same purpose its just that this one was designed to fit the previous generation of Aero bars (called Rapid Aero).
