Based on the video for the mounting bracket it seems these 2 items are compatible, however other specs indicate otherwise. Would this mounting bracket work for this awning. I have a 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan with poptop so need to mount to van wall: Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for VW Van with Lift Roof - TH307887 TH8002AW604 Thule Overcast Awning - Roof Rack Mount - 6 6 Long x 6 6 Wide - TH8002AW604

Since your 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan has the pop top the adapter part # TH307887 that you referenced would allow the Thule Overcast Awning part # TH8002AW604 that you referenced to fit.
