Question:
I am looking to install this front mount receiver on a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited stock with factory bumper for the use of a plow. There is a required receiver height of 11½ inches for proper operation. When this receiver is installed, what is the distance between the bottom of the receiver opening to the ground?

The hitch height of the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65069 will vary from vehicle to vehicle depending on factors such as tire size, aftermarket lift, suspension condition, load, etc. so we cannot give specifics but when we installed this same hitch on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we found the distance from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube opening to be about 18-1/2". The bottom of the receiver tube opening would then be around 16-1/2".
Therefore, there would have to be some sort of drop built into the plow or you'd have to look at other plow options more suited for a Jeep.
