Since your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 has the factory rail system, I recommend the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs item # C24FR. It has a gross towing weight of 25,000 lbs and a vertical load limit of 6,250 lbs. The Curt hitch has a far better ride quality provided by 360-degree jaw to kingpin connection provided by it's 2 locking jaws. This limits the chucking you see in some lower quality hitches. It has a 3-Point indicator system that uses color coding to tell you if the hitch is ready to uncouple, couple, or tow. The lock indicators are visible from cab.
