Which Kayak Carrier Should I Use To Transport 2 Kayaks On A 2021 RAV4 With Aero Bars?

Question:

I have aero crossbars that are 2 1/2 wide on my RAV4. Can you suggest some kayak rack that will seat snugly on the aero cross bars? I have two kayaks and Im ok to go with 2 pair of racks or just one rack that accommodates two kayaks.

I recommend going with the Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # S512-S512X. This can hold 1 or 2 kayaks and will take up much less room than using 2 individual kayak carriers, so you will have more spare room on your roof rack for other accessories. The weight capacity is 165lbs total, but you will want to make sure you do not exceed the weight limit of your roof and roof rack.

Everything is included for installing this onto your aero crossbars and using it with 2 kayaks. I attached a couple photos to give you some more insight on the way this carrier looks when installed onto aero bars.
