does the push button also stop the water without turning the water off at the valve?

The RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull Down Spout & Single Lever Handle, # 277-000409 has a button on the spout that is for changing the water flow between the options of either a spray of a stream. The on/off for water flow itself is the lever on the main body of the faucet. Please note the attached video for a visual demonstration.
