Should Time Delayed Brake Controllers Always Have Power When Braking

With the Pro Series Pilot 2-6 Brake Electronic Brake Controller # 80550 being a time delayed brake controller, there will always be power once the brake is pressed. With that being said, the gain can be adjusted if needed by using the power knob on the left side of the controller. If you are not towing, you can turn the power all the way down, but again, there will always end up being power running through it when the brakes are engaged.
