Question:
I am looking at a Cedar Creek 5th wheel trailer with a gross weight of about 16k and 40foot long. I have a short bed truck and was wondering if your swivel hitch will fit on the Cedar creek trailer?

Pin Boxes are bolt pattern specific so you would need to find out what kind of pin box is on the Cedar Creek 5th wheel you've been looking at. The Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret # RP77FR you were looking at is designed to replace a Lippert 1716, 1116, and 0115 pin box. You'll also need to know the GVWR of the 5th wheel to ensure you get the correct GTW pin box. If you contact the dealer they should be able to tell you both the pin box design and GVWR and then we can find the correct sidewinder for your needs.
Since you have a short bed truck a sidewinder is definitely the correct choice to increase your turning radius. You'll also need a wedge kit to prevent the king pin from rotating in the jaws of your 5th wheel hitch. Since these wedge kits are hitch specific you will need to ensure you are using the correct one. If you can provide me with the brand and model of your 5th wheel hitch I can find the correct wedge for you.
