Ive purchased a used hitch and rails part# 30032 , 30038 and 30728 this is the numbers on the side of the fifth wheel and Im trying to install it into a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 6ft bed , how far from the rear of the bed do I measure forward for the rear rail ? Thanks for any help you could give

On a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 6 foot bed AND as long as your truck does not have overload springs, then on 5th wheel installation kit # RP30035-023 from the rear edge of the truck bed to the back of the rear rail measures 26-5/16 inches. This is on page 13 of the linked instructions.
If your truck does have overload springs then you will need to use installation kit # RP30035-186. The measurement is the same with this kit. I have linked instructions for both kits (including the alternate instructions for the semi-custom brackets).
