How to Install a Hopkins Brake Force Brake Controller on a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500
Updated 05/10/2013 | Published 05/09/2013 >
Question:
Your description of wiring the Hopkins Brake Force is good but do you still need to connect the 2 wires to the fuse block studs that are located near the fuse block? Also, there is a 30 amp fuse already installed, do you need to install the 40 amp fuse? The truck is equipped with the towing package. Thanks,

To install the Hopkins Brake Force brake controller you will want to wire it to the 4 wires underneath your dash. Check out the FAQ article I attached on this.
You will need to connect the two wires under the hood. You will not need to install any other circuit breakers to complete the install.
