Wiring Directions For 2012 Nissan Pathfinder Using Tow Ready Wiring Harness # 118266
Updated 05/08/2013 | Published 05/05/2013 >
Question:
The T-Connector harness in this kit has both a grey and a black connector. Are there mating connectors for both of these on the vehicle? Where are they located on the vehicle? The written instructions are not very clear about this and in Photo C only seems to show 1 white connector on the frame for the 2012 Pathfinder. Please clarify what to do with the 2 connectors.

I spoke with my contact at Tow Ready and he said there should be two mating connectors for the gray and black connectors on the inboard side of the driver side frame rail near the spare tire. He did tell me that Nissan is notorious for moving the wiring on their vehicles and the last information he received was that the connectors were on the top part of the driver side frame rail at the spare tire.
The connectors are typically pretty visible and should be easy to spot. Photo C that you reference in the installation instructions shows two connectors, one black and one white. I attached a photo pointing to each connector. These are the mating connectors for the gray and black connectors on this wiring harness.
I recommend looking near the rear axle, rear axle suspension and at the end of the frame rail. If you cannot locate a connector, I recommend taking your vehicle to a local Nissan dealer to have them locate the connectors.
