How to Carry Bikes on 2017 Honda Civic SI Coupe With Spoiler

TH45JV. I was hoping I could fit this rack under/over the spoiler on my 2017 civic si. It looks like the portion that spans the trunk telescopes to the point where maybe the cables would fit under the spoiler. I really would prefer this rack over almost any other thank you.

While there is a way for you to carry bikes with your 2017 Honda Civic SI coupe with a rear spoiler, a trunk-mounted bike rack like the Thule one you referenced is not a fit due to that spoiler interfering, specifically with the main body of the rack. Since the SI has a center exhaust, a hitch isn't something that can be installed either, so the only way to carry bikes with this particular vehicle is with a roof rack and roof bike rack.
Let's start with the roof rack for your '17 Civic SI couple, and the correct fit is a rack from Inno, which is made up of the following parts:
- Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB130-2
- Inno Through Feet for Aero Crossbars # INXS250
- Custom Fit Kit # INK683
These are long, 51 inch crossbars so you have plenty of space to carry multiple bike racks, and are aero-shaped which allows the mounting of different styles of bike rack. There are a couple of options I like a lot due to their value, as they combine quality at a good price, with one being a fork-mounted bike rack and the other being a wheel-mounted rack if you prefer not to remove your bike's wheel:
- Fork Mount: Inno Fork Lock III Roof Bike Rack # INA391
- Wheel Mount: Malone Pilot Roof Mounted Bike Rack # MPG2103
