To determine if the Master Lock 3 Inch Disc Brake Lock, part # 8304DPS will fit your 2012 Honda Shadow Spirit you will need to take a couple of measurements. The lock pin has a diameter of 0.40 inches or slightly less than 7/16 inch, so you first need to measure a heat dissipation hole on your rotor to see if you have an opening that will fit a 0.40 inch pin.
Next, measure the distance from the outside edge of your rotor to the center of one of the heat dissipation holes and if that measurement is less than 2-3/8 inches then the lock will fit your Honda motorcycle.
If your heat dissipation holes are smaller than 0.40 inches, Master Lock has lock # 8303DPS, that has a pin diameter of 0.20 inches which is slightly smaller than 1/4 inch.
Using the same process, measure a heat dissipation hole to see if it has an opening that will fit a 0.20 inch pin. Next, measure from the edge of the rotor to the middle of one of the heat dissipation holes and if that measurement is less than 1-1/4 inches, then Master Lock # 8303DPS will fit your Honda motorcycle.
