Question:
tow vehicle is 2007 Chevy avalanche 7 way plug trying to get the trailer lights to work on 1974 Starcraft boat that has 6 pole round . no trailer brakes on boat. should I get part # 37575 with center pin for brakes or does it matter. or better options available. Just purchased boat so no history on boat looks like the red and blue wires are not attached to plug on six pole taped up. Thanks for your help

Helpful Expert Reply:
Sounds like the 12 volt accessory and brake output circuit are not active on your boat trailer's 6-way wiring which means any 7-way to 6-way adapter like the part # 37575 would work great.
