Recommended Hitch for 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan that Won't Interfere With Spare Tire

Question:

We have a dodge grand caravan 2001 es all wheel drive. We had a shop install a hitch on it, while the hitch fits, we cant get the spare tire in its place and the hitch is so recessed we have to use an extender. What hitch would work correctly with my vehicle? I would like to carry the spare tire and not use an extender. Thanks

I'd recommend the Draw-Tite # 75119 Class III hitch you'd looked at. When we installed the hitch on a 2003 Grand Caravan, we found that it didn't interfere with the spare tire (see photo and linked video) and the hitch pin hole was only recessed by 4 inches under the bumper which is pretty minimal.
