Troubleshooting An EverChill RV Refrigerator That Powers On But Doesnt Cool

Question:

When we got to our campsite after an 8 hr drive, my refrigerator wasnt cool. I have it set to 4 for cool and the blue light was flashing. It was working fine at home yesterday when I loaded it I held the set button 10 seconds to power down and then 10 seconds to power back on. I set the temp to 5 and now 5 hours later or still isnt cooling. I also typed the breaker and reset it after 3 hrs of not cooling. Any thoughts on what might be the problem?

When troubleshooting cooling issues on the Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer - 10.7 Cu Ft - 12V - Stainless Steel Item # 324-000119 the first place to start is the power supply. Check to make sure the fridge is receiving 12v. It could be receiving enough to turn on but not to enough to properly operate. If it is receiving adequate power then it could be your compressor which would require you to reach out to a licensed technician to repair.

On the back of the fridge there is a junction block which has a ground wire that will run down to the bottom of the fridge and then to out to be ground to the frame of your camper. Check to ensure that the ground wire isn't damaged or has a loose connection as this seems to be one other common issue.
