Hello, Is there any way i could attach this somehow with some clips or mounts to the side of the rhino rack x tray pro?

The Rhino-Rack Dome 1300 Awning, # RR32125 is designed as a bolt-on mount that uses top channels in certain models of roof racks for attaching the L-brackets. See attached image.

As is, the designed mounting hardware supplied does not match this to the Rhino Rack XTray. But yes, a person can modify/custom fabricate an alternate mounting method if they choose to.

I suggest you consider the Yakima SlimShady Awning, # Y96VR. If with your XTray in place, you have enough room on cross bars, this clamp-on design would better fit your situation. This is 8'x8' and a simple roll out design with telescoping poles. Checkout the attached product review and installation video. For a smaller, 30 sqft model, # Y56VR.
