Question:

My coupler is loose on adjustable channel of dump trailer. Assume that I need additional washers on the interior of the channel between it and the coupler on both sides. Clearly doesn’t seem with one on each it’s thick enough to hold nor tightening the hex nut is appropriate. Thanks

The Bulldog Cast Head Coupler w/ Wedge Latch # BDA256C0317 is designed to fit the Bulldog 3" wide adjustable channel bracket like # BDAC3000300.

I would refrain from using this coupler with a wider channel bracket than 3" as it will cause the attachment to be loose and the hardware will not properly secure the coupler. If you can let me know how wide your channel bracket is I can source an alternative coupler that will better serve your channel.
