Question:
The pin on my ‘04 Featherlite 8541 goose got pretty severely bent and now it won’t seat go all the way through…can I buy this assembly and use only the inner tube and coupler to replace that or does this require starting from scratch and having the whole assembly welded in? Please advise, I live in a central California Sierra Nevada fire zone and can’t have down triller time, just in case we need to evacuate. Thank you!

As long as the your current inner tube of your gooseneck coupler on your 2004 Featherlite 8541 measures 4" in diameter then you can absolutely use just the inner tube of the Round Gooseneck Coupler with 28" - 38" Adjustable Height - 24,000 lbs # SAC2516-I you were looking at.
Another option is just purchasing the Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler Inner Tube - Round - 2-5/16" Ball - 25,000 lbs # BD1289020300 which is just a the inner tube and will save you a little bit of money over buying the outer tube you will not be using.
I included a video of the # SAC2516-I for you to take a look at.
