Can this 41” or down to 24” extension be installed into a 2” receiver by using a solid 2” bar to co

The # RP45018 Titan Hitch Box is designed to install into a 2-1/2 receiver. It's conceivable that with the proper alteration, a solid 2 x 2 inch hitch bar like # D36 could be used which would allow the piece to install into a 2 inch hitch, but the product has not been tested for that use and the weight capacity would be completely unknown. Therefore, I couldn't advise using the # RP46018 for said purpose.
