Correct Trailer Hitch for a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Updated 06/16/2021 | Published 06/14/2021 >
Question:
Want to buy a trailer hitch for my 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser and want to be sure I’m ordering the correct one. May be used for towing in the future, but main purpose is a 2” hitch bike rack. I also have a question on how the install on this hitch goes I.e. easy, difficult, or somewhere in between.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75461 is a great option for a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser and a confirmed fit. The install difficulty is rated as a 3 out of 10 so pretty easy overall. It will work great for towing or hitch mounted accessories like a bike rack. It does not require drilling.
I have attached an installation video below.
