Question:
Hi, I have a 2016 Acura MDX and was looking for roof rack. I am currenktly eyeing on the this: I noticed it says that the bars weight capacity is 165lbs. Is this for each bar 230lbs total or if combined weight capacity 82.50 lbs each bar? For the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs, what is the rated capacity for each leg?

Let's start with your questions about weight limits first. This rack has a weight limit of 165lbs. That limit is to be distributed across the rack. This rack does not divide the weight limits per foot or per bar. This 2016 Acura MDX Roof Rack by Rhino Rack will work on your vehicle. It consists of the
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA
Custom DK Fit Kit # DK400.
This rack clamps to the frame of your 2016 Acura MDX. The legs can be locked to your vehicle, securing your rack. The crossbars are elliptical in shape. They have a t-channel which makes it compatible with all accessories that attach via the channel, even non Rhino Rack accessories. Yet accessories that use a clamping mechanism to attach to the crossbars will also be compatible with this rack. The bars are elliptical shaped so they cut down on wind noise and the also help with fuel efficiency.
