Do you have a quick connect set-up to hook the existing wiring next to the spare tire and route it approx 12inch to the hitch I will install?

If I am understanding you correctly you have a 4-way on your 2012 Toyota Highlander but you are looking for a way to extend the wiring of the 4-way by 12 inches. What I would recommend you get would be a 12 inch Car and Trailer End Extension # 9653P. This product will extend your 4-way by exactly 12 inches and should work well for you.
